Tom Drake, Partner at Drake & Partners will continue as Chairman of the East Midlands branch of the Industrial Agents Society for 2023.

The Industrial Agents Society (IAS) is a national network of Commercial Agents focused on the leasing and development of Industrial & Logistics property, throughout the UK. It has a national committee and then regional branches which include the East Midlands, West Midlands, North, Scotland and the West.

The Industrial Agents Society represents the interests of the industrial sector across the UK, to develop access to markets and provide professional development and networking events. This is brought about through the work of the National Committee working in conjunction with the Regional Committees and its members.

This is Tom’s 3rd year as Chairman of the East Midlands branch, with our other Partners all members of the society, as well as the Office equivalent the OAS. Tom and his West Midlands counterpart successfully organised the inaugural East Midlands v West Midlands Day last year, which was attended by agents throughout the two regions and raised a significant amount of money for local charity. The East Midlands branch also joined forces with the West Midlands annual and Christmas networking events held in Birmingham, as well as other national initiatives.

Working with Tom, Sean Bremner of CPP in Nottingham has stepped up to be the region’s new treasurer. The two are looking to build on the number of events the region has for it’s members.
