An eight-acre site in Northampton which is earmarked for two industrial buildings is set to be acquired. Trebor and Hillwood have entered into a contract to buy the land at Crow Lane and propose to speculatively develop two units of 90,014 sq ft and 57,834 sq ft.
Site preparation works have commenced and a planning application will be submitted shortly. Subject to consent the development will start on site in 2021, for delivery of units in early 2022.
James Drew, development director for Trebor, said: “Another substantial, off-market, deal for Trebor and Hillwood, the site is in an excellent location, within an established industrial area, with direct access to the A45.
“The scheme will provide two high quality self-contained units both with onsite parking, first floor offices, multiply dock and level doors and 50m yards and will be available on both a leasehold and freehold basis.
“We look forward to bringing this major new scheme forward.”
Nicholas Roberts, Partner at Drake Commercial adds ‘’ we are pleased to have been able to agree terms with Trebor Developments on behalf of the landowner and we look forward to working with on this exciting new development alongside our joint agents Knight Frank”.
