Drake & Partners have been very pleased to welcome some work experience students over the course of the summer.

The students each spent a week in the office as well as heading out with surveyors to different properties, sites and meetings to gain an idea of what our jobs entail on a day to day basis. It gives students some insight into the property industry as well as helping them to learn what it is like in a place of work compared to study. It also helps the individuals to boost their CV ahead finishing their education or applying to university.

The students that visited us came from Northampton School for Boys and Wrenn School.

Ollie Holliday, who is doing a surveying apprenticeship with us, confirmed: ‘I completed some work experience with Drake & Partners before being offered an apprenticeship role and it was really useful to understand what the industry is about. Whether the guys that joined us this summer choose to go into surveying or not, the experience of working life, communication and the office environment was hopefully useful to them.’
