On behalf of clients Richard Utley Limited (RUL), Drake Commercial and joint agents Bromwich Hardy are pleased to announce that Europark 44, Rugby has been let on a long term lease to global plastics extrusion company, Coba International Limited.

Based at their headquarters in Fleckney, Leicestershire, Coba have been trading for 55 years and now employ over 850 people, working from 11 locations with facilities in South Africa, Romania, Slovakia and Romania.

Coba have taken Europark 44 to satisfy further growth within the business. Europark 44 was built on a speculative basis by the landlord with construction undertaken by Northampton based contractor, Warwick Burt. The unit 44,120 sq ft benefits from 10m eaves with 2 level access and 2 dock loading doors.

Joe Smith at Drake Commercial commented “We are delighted to secure such a high calibre tenant in Coba International at Europark. The building benefits from best in class specification and it was no surprise there was significant interest in the unit. The fact the building let quickly after practical completion underlines the excellent quality of build and the first class location with access to M1 and M6 motorways in minutes” .

Chris Utley at RUL said “We are very pleased to enter into a long term agreement with Coba International. Like RUL, they are a privately owned family run company who will add to and complement the tenant mix at Europark. On the back of this letting, our attention now switches to further speculative development on the site which will be announced by the agency team shortly”.

This letting comes shortly after the letting of Unit 11 to Enterprise Rent a Car who took the units and 3.21 acre yard on a long term lease. As a result of both the lettings to Unit 11 and Europark 44, all existing buildings are now let.
